TMCCC History

Forging On

TMCCC is the 6th church plant among the ACEM churches. In those days, Putonghua (Mandarin) immigrants flooded into Toronto. We saw that the opportunity to share with them the caught! Rev. Samuel KP Ng who though born a Cantonese speaker, was fluent in Putonghua. He led a team of pastors and church leaders, and by the power of the Holy Spirit, led by the Lord overcame much difficulties.

By a heavenly calling, the Toronto Mandarin Chinese Community Church was born.

For the last 24 years, our Almighty God showed His power, glory and authority. Every little item of history and artifact testifies God’s presence and abundance. We are deeply thankful and speechless admiring the work of God’s hand.

From the small room 23, then moved to the gym, and to the church planting committee; things moved along with the same vision. Though there were also changes in pastoral leadership, the vision stayed: Spread the Gospel, emphasize discipleship, serving the community, involving in short term missions and supporting mission organizations …  TMCCC had nurtured also a number of young leaders who are now active in full-time church ministry! TMCCC is growing despite the ups and downs brothers and sisters faced in their lives and health. God’s protection and leading is present. God will lead TMCCC all the way. God’s faithfulness is clearly stated in the Bible!

It is because of God’s faithfulness and love, our hearts are not shaken by changes ever harder, to experience and testify His power. May TMCCC forge ahead, onto an even more exciting journey, fighting the good fight for Christ!

“Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go.” (Joshua 1:9b)
